Unfortunately, with immediate effect the underwriter Accident and Health International Pty Ltd (AHI) have withdrawn the RideSafe product from the individual personal accident market due to significant claims, current market conditions and change in underwriting guidelines. No new policies will be written, and renewals will be provided until the 31st of October 2019.

Policies due for renewal from the 1st of November 2019 will no longer be provided with a renewal from AHI.

If your policy is current, your policy will run until your policy expiry date claims will be reviewed subject to the terms and conditions of the policy.

With these changes group personal accident policies for clubs and associations are not affected. There is also no affect to any other products, or product lines including our Equine Public Liability or Equine Protection offerings.

The Affinity Equine team attempted to source an alternative market to support this product however have been unsuccessful.

We have investigated alternative options and for a standalone individual personal accident cover, we have been advised the minimum cost will be in excess of $1,000. If you would like further details, please contact us.
